On October 7, the kickoff meeting of Liyujiang Power Plant of China Resources Power's Flexible Supply Project to Hunan was convened at the Hunan Project of China Resources Power Chenzhou Company. Ouyang Xiaofeng, Deputy Director of Hunan Provincial Energy Bureau, Wu Qilong, Deputy Secretary-General of Chenzhou Municipal People's Government, Wang Enze, General Manager of China Resources Power Chenzhou Company, more than 50 officials from State Grid Hunan Electric Power Co., Ltd., and staff from related units attended the meeting. The meeting decided that the flexible power supply of Liyujiang Power Plant of China Resources Power would be officially connected to the Hunan power grid on October 8.

On September 28, CR Power Ganqing Company of the Central-West China Region held the groundbreaking ceremony of the first phase of the 600,000kW Muguang complementary power generation project of the China Resources GW-level photovoltaic power generation base in Qishan Township, Yongdeng County, Gansu Province. Wang Yanqun, Secretary of the Yongdeng County Party Committee, Liu Zongbin, Deputy Secretary of the County Party Committee and County Mayor, Zhang Zhenxiang, Deputy Director of the Lanzhou Municipal Development and Reform Commission, and Liang Wenya, Deputy General Manager of the Region and General Manager of Ganqing Company attended the ceremony.

The "First National Carbon Neutrality and Green Development Conference" was held in Shenzhen from September 26 to 27. It was sponsored by the Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences and organized by the Guangdong Provincial Society for Environmental Sciences. Xie Zhenhua, China's Special Envoy for Climate Change, Wang Yuqing, the former Deputy Director of State Environmental Protection Administration of China, Jiang Zhaoli, Deputy Director-General, Climate Change Department, Ministry of Ecology and Environment, and relevant leaders from the Department of Resource Conservation and Environmental Protection of the National Development and Reform Commission and the Department of Ecology and Environment of Guangdong Province addressed the conference.

The China Resource Power South China Region and Air Liquide (China) Holding Co., Ltd signed a renewable energy strategic agreement on September 24. The signing ceremony was attended by Hou Yongjie, Vice President of China Resources Power and General Manager of China Resources Power South China Region, and Hu Daming, Vice President, Large Industries at Air Liquide (China) Holding Co., Ltd. Both sides discussed corporate partnership potential in the field of renewable energy development, among other topics.

On the afternoon of September 7, Tian Niansheng, Deputy General Manager (presiding over the work) of Guangxi Electricity Distribution Company of China Resources Power, attended the National Green Power Trade Agreement Launching Ceremony and the South Region Green Power Trade Agreement-signing Ceremony in Nanning and signed the 2021 Guangxi Green Power Transaction Cooperation Memorandum on behalf of Guangxi Electricity Distribution Company of China Resources Power and new energy power generation companies and electricity users in the Guangxi region.

On August 11, CR Power Sunan Company and Changshu Economic and Technological Development Zone signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement for new energy in Changshu city.

At 17:00 on August 11, CR Power Jinzhou Company witnessed that the No. 2 Unit attached to 2×660MW cogeneration project passed the 168-hour full-load test run and was officially put into commercial service.

On August 3, the 100,000-ton wharf of CR Power Haifeng Company opened and passed the national acceptance. The acceptance marked the opening-up of the 100,000-ton wharf cost 6 years by Haifeng Company ended with a great success, which would further reduce the company’s fuel costs and improve efficiency, holding an important position in safeguarding high-quality power generation of the company.

On July 31, the "Occupational Health Management Regulations for Production and Business Units" co-drafted by CR Power Luoyang Company were formally issued. At present, this regulation has been released on the national public standard information service platform.

In mid-to-late July, Henan suffered continuous heavy rainfall, which was rare in history, resulting in severe flood disaster in some areas. In response to the flood disaster and in order to guarantee power supply during the flood season, CR Power Central-West China Region established an emergency team immediately to uniformly arrange flood control and power supply work of 7 regional companies (including professional companies) and 26 power plants in Henan Province.
