On June 28, the Daishan No. 2 300MW Offshore Wind Power Project of CR Power Zhejiang Company was approved by Zhoushan Development and Reform Commission. The project covers an area of 48 square kilometers. The project entails the installation of 36 wind turbines with a cumulative capacity of 300MW, along with the construction of a 220 kV offshore substation and an onshore metering station. The total investment of the project is about RMB 3.5 billion. The project can achieve significant environmental and economic benefits by saving approximately 304,000 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 834,000 tons annually.
