On November 17, Dachaidan 200MW wind power project of CR Power in Qinghai was officially started.

Located in Gobi Desert of Dachaidan Executive Committee of Haixi Prefecture, Qinghai Province, the project plans to install 40 wind turbine generators with a unit capacity of 5MW, and build a supporting energy storage power station with a storage capacity of 40MW/160MWh. With a total investment of RMB 1.245 billion, the project is expected to achieve the annual power generation of 497 million kWh, and reduce the carbon dioxide emissions by 402,600 tons.
