On October 15, the newly built Unit 2 of the 2×660MW ultra-supercritical coal-fired unit project of Xiantao Power Plant of CR Power was connected to the grid successfully for the first time.

With a total installed capacity of 1,320MW and a total investment of RMB 4.62 billion, Xiantao Power Plant is expected to have an annual power output of about 6 billion kWh after it is put into production.
