On September 5, the launching ceremony of the Yunan pumped storage power station project of China Resources Power was held.

The project is located in Jiancheng Town and Tongmen Town, Yunan County, Guangdong Province. It has been included in the reserve project of the National Energy Administration, with a total installed capacity of 1200 MW. The total dynamic investment of the project is RMB 7.5 billion. Equipped with planned tourism facilities, it will become a tourism and park integration project after completion, with the estimated tax revenue of RMB 180 million generated for local areas every year.
