On August 10, Runtan Technology and Guangchang County in Jiangxi Province signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement on forestry carbon sink development.

According to the agreement, the government of Guangchang County shall authorize Runtan Technology to develop all forestry carbon assets within the county, and provide all-round consultation services in carbon sink project development, management, verification and signing to finally achieve successful recording of emission reductions and jointly obtain benefits from emission reductions. Forestry carbon sink is a process, activity or mechanism of absorbing carbon dioxide from atmosphere and combining with carbon sink trading through afforestation, reafforestation, forest administration and deforestation reduction.
