On January 19, the China Resources Power Guangzhou Company held the start of comprehensive energy project of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou).
Relying on Nansha Power Plant, the project uses energy efficient cascade utilization technology to innovate and build a comprehensive energy service system including central cooling, central heating, rooftop photovoltaic power generation and campus charging piles to help build a green and low-carbon "net-zero emission" demonstration campus. As a tripartite deep integration project of Nansha New Area Industrial Park Administration, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) and China Resources Power Guangzhou Company, the project is a beneficial attempt to explore the win-win cooperation of "government, industry, university and research" and accelerate the transformation and implementation of scientific and technological achievements, highlighting the innovation-driven development concept of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and providing a new cooperation demonstration for innovating the cooperative development mechanism of the Greater Bay Area.
