On January 16, the Flexible Supply Project in Hunan of China Resources Power's Liyujiang Power Plant was officially launched.

Liyujiang Power Plant is the southernmost power support point of central China power grid, which mainly transmitted power to Guangdong before. The newly-built 500 kV transmission project is a key project to enhance the grid structure of Hunan power grid, which can realize the transfer of 660,000 kW power from Liyujiang Power Plant to Hunan. The supply to Hunan will last for one month to provide powerful power supplement and guarantee for Hunan to meet the peak in winter. At the same time, Liyujiang Power Plant has also become the first thermal power plant in China that can be traded in two national power trading centers in Beijing and Guangzhou, which has greatly improved the differentiated competitiveness of enterprises and laid a good foundation for the high-quality development of enterprises.
