On October 25th, the "Optimization Technology Research and Engineering Practice of Ultra-low Emission System in Thermal Power Plants" unveiled by Guangzhou Company won the third prize of the "2020 China Electric Power Science and Technology Progress Award."
As one of China's first demonstration projects for environmental protection transformation of coal-fired units and the first coal-fired power plant in Guangdong Province to complete the "ultra-low emission" transformation of the entire plant, Guangzhou Company always regards environmental protection indicators as the most critical production and operation indicators and continues to execute in-depth research on the crucial technology of ultra-low emission system operation optimization, innovative solutions to the complex ultra-low emission of boiler pollutants, including high operating costs, dynamic excess of nitrogen oxides at the chimney discharge outlet, and nitrogen oxidation at the furnace outlet due to frequent participation of boilers in power grid peak regulation. To achieve high-efficiency, safe and energy-saving operation of "ultra-clean" environmental protection facilities, it has made integrated and unique technical advances in theoretical research, numerical simulation, and demonstration applications.
