On April 22, China Resources Power Dengfeng Co., Ltd. held the commencement ceremony for the first heating station construction project in Dengfeng.

In October 2020, the Dengfeng Municipal People's Government sent a letter requiring China Resources Power Dengfeng Co., Ltd. to start the heating transformation of the units in the plant and the construction of the first heating station as soon as possible. According to the plan, after the completion of the first heating station project of CR Power in Dengfeng, the heating load will be 270 megawatts, the heating area will be 6 million square meters, and the annual saving of standard coal consumption will be about 17,300 tons. The effect of energy saving and emission reduction is remarkable, which is of great significance to improving people's livelihood, reducing air pollution and improving the living environment of Dengfeng.
