On November 3, 50 students from the School of Chemical Engineering and Technology of Sun Yat-Sen University carried out undergraduate production practice in CR Power's Guangzhou Thermal Power Plant.

The staff introduced to the teachers and students in detail the application of environmental protection technology, innovation and transformation, and integrated energy business development of the modern power plant. Afterwards, the teachers and students went to the production sites such as the centralized control room, the steam turbine room and the urban solid waste disposal center to further understand the practical application of the majors they learned in the power plant. During the forum, the teachers and students exchanged views with employee representatives on the diversified operation of the power plant and personal career development. The visiting teachers and students expressed that the production practice allowed them to learn the method of combining the majors they learned with the production practice, and more deeply understand the importance of cross of disciplines in the green development of the thermal power plant.

As a base for youth exchanges among Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, Guangzhou Thermal Power Plant continues to provide a platform for talent cultivation and scientific research of colleges and universities, and play a demonstrative role in the talent reserve of enterprises and the integration of production, education and research.
