Fengrun Power Plant Wins the First Prize of National Equipment Management and Technological Innovation Achievements

On August 22, the fourth exchange conference on national equipment management and technological innovation achievements sponsored by the China Association of Plant Engineering was held in Jiangshan City, Zhejiang Province. The "Application Research to Reduce Heat Losses from Cold Source of Units in the Power Plant" declared by CR Power Tangshan Fengrun Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Fengrun Power Plant")won the first prize of technological innovation achievements.
Fengrun Power Plant, with the installed capacity of 2 × 350 MW, completed the transformation of recovering waste heat in circulating water with steam-driven two-shaft extending compression-type heat pump of Unit 2 in 2017; completed the transformation of adjusting the pressure cylinder of Unit 1 in 2019; on this basis, completed the project integrating heat supply and thermal power generation through independent innovation. After implementation, the project has significantly reduced the unit's cold source loss, improved the unit's heating capacity, and increased the heating area, achieving good economic, social and environmental benefits, and greatly improving operating performance.
