On the morning of May 29, when the "June 1" Children's Day was just around the corner, the Volunteer Service Team of CR Power Tangshan Fengrun Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Fengrun Power Plant") went to the Tangshan Blue Phoenix Center for Mentally Handicapped Children to hold an interesting sports event entitled "Hand in Hand – Love for Mentally Handicapped Children".

In the early summer of Tangshan South Lake Scenic Area, 22 volunteers were divided into two groups (A and B), with every two forming an "alliance" with a child. Then the two groups competed with each other in three ball games. The volunteers performed the outward bound game "Walk on the Moon" to let the children appreciate the team spirit. The performance was so wonderful that it was received with warm applause from the children. In addition, the volunteers also send gifts to the children and wished them happiness.

The Volunteer Service Team, through its long-term cooperation with the Tangshan Blue Phoenix Center for Mentally Handicapped Children, has demonstrated its sense of responsibility as a Central enterprise while learning to be tenacious, loving and cooperative. The Team hopes to be always there for the children as they grow up and help them find their feet in society and stand on their own feet.
