On April 18, 22 young volunteers from Guangzhou CR Thermal Power Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Guangzhou Thermal Power Plant") provided volunteer services for the resumption of school classes and the cleaning of the city.

Guangzhou has resumed school classes in stages and batches since April 27. In order to help the schools prepare for the resumption of classes, Guangzhou Thermal Power Plant organized a volunteer team of young employees, mainly specialized in electrical engineering, to come to Nansha No.1 Middle School to help check the potential safety hazards of power supply lines, leakage protectors and power distribution cabinets in classrooms and dormitories, install electric fans and lighting lamps, and ensure the safety of teachers and students while resuming classes. After the activity, Principal of Nansha No.1 Middle School Deng Bin said: "The volunteer activity not only ensured our safety in use of electricity, but strengthened our confidence in epidemic prevention and control and safe resumption of classes."

During this period, the volunteer team from Guangzhou Thermal Power Plant also came to the CR Public Welfare Forest on the banks of Jiaomenhe Park to clean up white garbage such as plastic bottles and plastic bags in the park, including its green belts.

In the future, Guangzhou Thermal Power Plant will further improve the long-term mechanism of volunteer activities, give full play to the advantages of young employees, and carry out volunteer activities in a standardized and regular manner.
