On August 27th, China Resources Power (Hezhou) Co., Ltd. (referred to as Hezhou Project) held public benefit activity with the theme of “Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of New China, Helping Students to Realize Dreams”. Zuo Junjie, Deputy General Manager of South China Region and General Manager of Hezhou Project, Wu Lihua, Deputy Director of China Resources Circular Economy Industry Demonstration Zone Administration Committee and Deputy County Magistrate of Fuchuan Yao Autonomous County, and outstanding high school graduates and their parents from surrounding villages and towns attended the activity.
General Manager Zuo Junjie represented all staff of Hezhou Project to grant scholarships to the graduates, encouraged them to cherish the opportunity to receive higher education, set up enterprising ambitions, study diligently, and try to change the poverty of their hometown with their own actions, thus making contributions for the development of our country and our nation. The aided graduates expressed their gratitude, saying that they would work hard with a grateful heart, strive to become the pillars of the society, pass on the love and live up to the expectations of people.
During the activity, graduates and parents watched the promotional videos of China Resources Group and China Resources Power, learned about the red culture history, production and operation condition of China Resources, and visited the exhibition hall of China Resources Circular Economy Industrial Demonstration Zone and the production site of Hezhou Project, which deepened their understanding of operational management, environmental protection and social responsibility of thermal power plants.
Hezhou Project has held Golden Autumn Student Aid Activity after the college entrance examination for four consecutive years. All the scholarships issued are from the self-sponsored “Love Charity Fund”, which aims at helping the poor families in poverty-stricken areas to reduce economic burden and outstanding students to realize their dreams of going to colleges.
