On June 21st, South China Region New Energy Operation and Maintenance Company (referred to as Operation and Maintenance Company) held an opening ceremony for the Safety Experience Hall at Guangyi Wind Farm in Yuexiang Maintenance Base. Over 20 people participated in the ceremony, including EHS Department of the Region, relevant personnel of Operation and Maintenance Company, and trainees of the maintenance bases.

The Experience Hall was designed by Operation and Maintenance Company after sorting risks of the wind power industry. It sets up 10 projects, including “comprehensive utilization of power”, “impact of hard hat”, “use of safety belt” and “VR”, integrating knowledge education, interactive experience and scene simulation. Among them, the wind turbine high-altitude escape and rescue training platform highly imitates the structure of a wind turbine, and can be used for training and drilling in rescue and escape from the engine room and tower of wind turbine, which has the characteristics of authenticity, experience and interaction. After the opening ceremony, Operation and Maintenance Company held a training session in high-altitude escape and rescue.

Next, Operation and Maintenance Company will carry out training in batches to deepen the personnel’s knowledge of escape and rescue from wind turbine and improve the emergency response capability of its staff.
