On January 8, Guangdong Provincial Association of Work Safety (GDPAWS) organized and held 2018 Guangdong Provincial Safety Culture Construction Demonstration Enterprise Summary and Exchange Meeting in Guangzhou. GDPAWS reported on the progress of building 2018 Guangdong Provincial Safety Culture Demonstration Enterprise, and commended and awarded the title of “2018 Guangdong Safety Culture Demonstration Enterprise” to 46 enterprises. China Resources Power (Haifeng) Co., Ltd. (referred to as Haifeng Project), as one of the winners, was the only thermal power enterprise receiving the award.

At the meeting, relevant persons in charge of EHS Department of Haifeng Project shared their experience in safety culture construction, with an emphasis on introducing and demonstrating the experience and progress of safety culture construction, which was highly praised by the guests and experts in safety culture construction from various industries.

Since the launch of Haifeng Project, they have carried out safety culture construction continuously, formulated safety culture special work plan, and compiled documents such as the Five-Year Plan for Safety Culture and the Safety Culture Manual. From the implementation of various safety culture construction initiatives, Haifeng Project summarized a safety culture philosophy system with the concept of “pragmatism, rigor, innovation and excellence”, and the employees have abided by the rules and regulations consciously, thus gradually forming a cultural atmosphere of mutual help and friendship to promote safety together.
