On November 28, the inaugural ceremony of the Phase II 2×660MW ultra supercritical Coal Burning Unit Engineering of Fuyang CR Power Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as the “Fuyang Project”) was held. Cheng Jinjun, engineer-in-chief of Anhui Energy Administration, Li Hong, deputy mayor of Fuyang City, Zhu Yicun, general manager of Anhui Province Energy Group and Zhao Houchang, Vice President of CR Power, attended the activities, witnessing the moment together with over 180 people including regional government representatives, attending unit representatives and employees of the Fuyang Project.

Vice President Zhao Houchang expressed the gratitude to Fuyang Municipal Commission, Fuyang Municipal Government and partners Anhui Province Energy Group and Fuyang Energy Investment for their support and help. He noted that CR Power would give full play to its professional advanced level in energy industry to promote the project construction steadily and orderly, make the Fuyang Project Phase II become a national green, environment-friendly and quality project and continue to contribute to the economic growth in Fuyang.

Deputy Mayor Li Hong hoped that CR Power would follow the strict standards and advance efficiently to make the Fuyang Project Phase II into a first-class and premium project. Fuyang Municipal Commission and Fuyang Municipal Government will attach great importance and pay close attention to the project construction. By working with all municipal and district departments, they will spare no efforts to create a better environment and provide better service. Fully cooperating with CR Power, they ensure the project will be completed and put into operation successfully and deliver benefits as soon as possible.

Fuyang Project Phase II is one of the key projects of Anhui’s infrastructure. After it is completed and put into operation, it can yield a power of about 6.6 billion kilowatt-hours annually and create a new output value of about RMB 2.6 billion, playing an important role in speeding up the local industrial development and talent accumulation.

When the activities ended, accompanied by Liu Wen, general manager of the Fuyang Project, attending leaders visited the production site of the Fuyang Project Phase I.
