The gentle breeze brings coolness and the fragrance of osmanthus. On the morning of November 22, CR Power (Haifeng) Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as the “Haifeng Project”) held the 2018 “Caring about Daao Village and Helping Realize the University Dream” Activity of Donating Money for Education, which is the sixth year for the Project to subsidize the local outstanding university students in a row. Relevant heads from Party committee office of Haifeng Project, Chen Zhannan, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee of Daao Village, Xiaomo Town, Haifeng County, Shanwei City, and the parent representatives of subsidized students attended the activity.      

During the grant-awarding ceremony, relevant heads from Party committee office congratulated on four university undergraduates with excellent performance in Daao Village and their parents and expressed thanks for the great support of villagers in the villages and towns surrounding the factory. He emphasized that Haifeng Project has all along upheld the concept of green development, been committed to the ecological construction and environment-friendly management and maintained a harmonious and amicable relationship with the local government and community residents. He hoped that students can work hard, strive to make progress, learn to be grateful and give back to the society and contribute to the development and construction of hometown.

On behalf of the Party committee and Village Committee of Daao Village, Chen Zhannan, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee of Daao Village, appreciated this activity of Haifeng Project. He noted that Haifeng Project cares about the public and education, sends warmth with love and gives back to the society with practice. For a long time, in the form of donating grant and comforts voluntarily, it has helped the local excellent university students complete their studies and relieved the life pressure of families in difficulty. Meanwhile, it organizes the comforting team to pay a visit to those village households in poverty for many times, mentally care about their physical and living conditions, encourage them to regain confidence and physically help improve their living conditions, thus further harmonizing the neighbouring relationship and becoming the role model of local enterprises.

After the ceremony ended, parent representatives worked together to plant 8 saplings such as bauhinia in the “Forest of Top Scorers” in the factory area of Haifeng Project, jointly reflecting the green, environment-friendly and ecological awareness and bringing more greens and vigor to the exuberant “Forest of Top Scorers”. “Trees of Top Scorers” mark the vigorous cause of Haifeng Project and Daao Village and ever-lasting friendship of both sides and wish students to grow better.
