From November 26th to 30th, the 2nd China International Supply Chain Promotion Expo (CISCE) was held in Shunyi Hall of China International Exhibition Center in Beijing. On the 27th, Han Song, Deputy General Manager of China Resources Group (CR), was invited to attend the forum on "Advancing the Energy Transition for Zero-carbon Prosperity" at the CISCE and made a speech.

In the special sharing session, Deputy General Manager Han Song introduced the development of CR and its integrated energy sector, as well as CR's promotion of green energy transition and international cooperation. He said that CR has thoroughly implemented President Xi Jinping's new energy security strategy of "Four Revolutions and One Cooperation" and his important statement on energy work, seized the opportunity of green development, accelerated structural adjustment, optimized layout, and actively explored a new model for high-quality development of new energy. Specific measures include: accelerate the transition and upgrading of coal power and build smart power plants; actively promote the development of "Fengguang Grand Base" and offshore wind power; strengthen the coordination between upstream and downstream industrial chains, create green transformation demonstration projects, and lay out comprehensive energy services; make every effort to develop Hong Kong business, carry out overseas business in an orderly manner, open up new channels for international energy product procurement, and strive to become a world-class clean energy supplier and integrated energy service provider.

During the exchange and interaction session, Deputy General Manager Han Song introduced "accelerating the construction of a new energy system" and "optimizing the supply chain of clean energy". He pointed out that CR shoulders the responsibility of ensuring national energy security and promoting energy transition, so it has to promote the construction of a new energy system. Specifically, CR is working hard to accelerate the development of new energy and do a good job in thermal power energy conservation and consumption reduction; carry out cooperation between energy enterprises and explore coal-to-natural gas; build clean and efficient coal power and accelerate the development of indemnificatory power supply; actively cooperate with the power grid and promote the systematization of "source-grid-load-storage" around grid-forming energy storage; promote scientific and technological innovation, develop new quality productive forces and contribute to the construction of a new energy system. At the same time, we will adhere to the concept of green development, continuously optimize the supply of clean energy, build an industrial chain featured by coordination, innovative and green. We will deepen upstream and downstream cooperation in the industrial chain, give full play to the role of both domestic and foreign markets. We will strengthen innovation collaboration with universities and research institutes, central enterprises and other units. All of these enable us to contribute to the construction of resilient, safe and efficient industrial chain and supply chain.

During the event, CR Power and other clean energy chain enterprises jointly issued Drawing a New Picture of Low-carbon Energy Transition-Joint Initiative of Clean Energy Chain Exhibitors at the 2nd CISCE, calling on all clean energy enterprises to increase R&D investment in the field of clean energy, accelerate the construction of a new energy system, improve energy productivity, and jointly promote low-carbon transformation of the energy industry.

He stated that CISCE is the world's first national exhibition with the theme of supply chains. The exhibition area of this session is about 120,000 square meters, with six major chains and one supply chain service exhibition area. A total of nearly 700 Chinese and foreign enterprises and institutions participated in the exhibition, and the proportion of overseas exhibitors increased from 26% to 32% in the first session.
