On September 19, Pan Fu, Director of China Resources Group, visited Chongqing Energy Investment Group to carry out a special investigation on "further promoting the construction of Party conduct and clean government and anti-corruption work in newly acquired enterprises". Director Pan Fu presided over the symposium, listened to the work reports presented by the Party Committee and Discipline Inspection Commission of the Chongqing Energy Investment Group, and exchanged views with the members of the leadership team. Zhou Jianbo, Secretary of Discipline Inspection Committee and Senior Vice President of CR Power, accompanied the investigation. He also reported on CR Power's implementation of the rectification measures following the central inspection as well as the progress in promoting the construction of Party conduct and clean government and anti-corruption work in Chongqing Energy Investment Group.

Chongqing Energy Investment GroupDirector Pan Fu acknowledged the achievements made by Chongqing Energy Investment Group since its integration into CR, and expressed his recognition for the support and guidance provided by CR Power to Chongqing Energy Investment Group. Director Pan Fu pointed out that since Chongqing Energy Investment Group's integration into China Resources Group, its operation quality and efficiency have been significantly improved. The Investment Protection Agreement has been implemented pragmatically and effectively, and the effect of "Four-reshaping" has initially appeared. Party building has provided strong leadership, and the development of discipline inspection and patrol work has achieved remarkable results. At the same time, he pointed out that Chongqing Energy Investment Group still faces issues such as inadequate implementation of the responsibilities for Party management and governance, and the lack of a truly strict atmosphere. He put forward four requirements for further improvement: Firstly, it is necessary to study and comprehend the important expositions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on comprehensively strengthening Party discipline, thoroughly implement the decisions and arrangements of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, and continuously promote high-quality development of the enterprise by embracing the spirit of reform. Secondly, we should grasp the new situations and new tasks of the construction of Party conduct and clean government and anti-corruption work, strengthen the Party's leadership, adhere to the strict keynote, implement strict measures, and foster a strict atmosphere consistently, resolutely eradicating the soil and conditions that allow corruption to breed. Thirdly, we should focus on combating corruption in key areas and critical links, deepen the special rectification of "using one's position for personal gain", and strengthen supervision over the exercise of power and performance of duties by "top leaders" and leadership teams at all levels. We should strengthen integrity education to guide young cadres in laying a solid foundation for their careers, metaphorically described as "buttoning up the first button correctly", intensify efforts to investigate and handle corruption cases, maintaining a high-pressure deterrent. Fourthly, we should promote the comprehensive and strict governance of the Party, extending its reach into all levels, particularly at the grassroots, and fully leveraging the leading role of Party building. This involves improving and perfecting the "three no-corruption" mechanisms. We should adhere to the principle of investigating and addressing both work style issues and corruption cases simultaneously, tackling persistent and deep-rooted problems. We should prioritize the "Overall Supervision" effort, strengthening the synergy of supervision and enhancing its quality and efficiency. Continuously promoting the standardization, legalization, and formalization of discipline inspection work, we aim to build a loyal, clean, and responsible discipline inspection team that dares and is adept at fighting, safeguarding the high-quality development of enterprises.
