On April 25, the China Resources Power Zhejiang Company Cangnan No.1 Offshore Wind Power 200MW Expansion Project was approved.

The project lies in the eastern sea area of Cangnan County, Zhejiang Province. 24 wind turbines with a total installed capacity of 200MW are to be installed in the unused area of the Phase I project site. Also, a 220kV offshore booster station and an onshore centralized control center are to be built, with a total input of about RMB 3 billion. It is estimated that the project will be commissioned with an annual feed-in capacity of 790 million kWh, an annual output of about RMB 328 million and an annual carbon dioxide reduction of 656,000 tons.
