On November 10, joint commissioning was started for Xiyi Mine of CR Power (Xilingol) Coal Co., Ltd., marking the transition from the infrastructure construction stage to the trial production stage.
The project team prepared to construct Xiyi Mine in 2007 and started construction in May 2008. During the process, the team was brave to tackle difficulties and challenges and solved the problems affecting the project, turning the passive situation towards good. With the designed production capacity of 8 million tons per year, Xiyi Mine is a key coal mining enterprise in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It adopts the coal and electricity production joint venture model with the supporting Xilingol Power Plant of CR Power, with the daily coal output of the mine reaching 10,000 tons.
