On June 13, Unit 3 in the Wenzhou Power Plant of Zhejiang Company was officially approved by the Development and Reform Commission of Zhejiang Province.
Located on the west side of the original Phase I Project of Wenzhou Power Plant, the project is scheduled to start construction in June this year and will be completed for operation in 2024. It is proposed to build a 1 million kW high-efficiency secondary reheat ultra-supercritical coal-fired generating unit, synchronously develop ultra-low emission environmental protection facilities such as dusting, desulfurization and denitration, and add a 35,000-ton coal unloading berth. The annual power generation is expected to reach 5 billion kWh, with an annual saving of 71,000 tons of standard coal, equivalent to a reduction of 192,800 tons of carbon dioxide emissions, which can create a regional tax revenue of about RMB 100 million.
