On December 23, North China Region saw combination of Zhangjiakou and Tianjin wind power projects to grid, putting an end to the absence of new energy in the two regions.

On the day, Zhangbei 50.5 MW wind power project in North China Region completed full capacity combination of the units, transmitting green clean energy to Xiong'an New Area. The first wind turbines of Tianjin Baodi 30 MW wind power project were combined to grid, transmitting green clean energy to Tianjin power grid. For the purpose of the construction of the project, actions were taken to overcome severe weather conditions, handle safety issues and solve access problems, which provided valuable experience for the construction of subsequent projects in a flexible manner.
