On December 24, Shen-Shan Special Cooperation Zone Microalgae Carbon Fixation Project Completion & CCUS Industry-University-Research Cooperation Signing Ceremony was held at CR Power Shenzhen Company.

Positioned as a carbon dioxide biomass utilization pilot and scientific research platform, the Project serves as the first engineering pilot project of reducing, converting and utilizing smoke carbon dioxide from coal-fired plants by column microalgae photosynthetic reactor in China, which boasts significant economic and social benefits. At the ceremony, Shenzhen Company signed a strategic cooperation agreement respectively with CNOOC Shenzhen Branch, Zhejiang University and Shenzhen University whereby efforts will be made to continuously facilitate the progress in CCUS in China and help realize carbon neutrality and carbon peaking goals by virtue of technological development and industrial transformation in carbon utilization and carbon fixation.
