As a result of a power outage, the 100,000-ton Liberian coal ship "THUNDER" became stuck at the anchorage of CR Power Haifeng Company on November 6.

To guarantee supplies, Haifeng Company took on the task and worked closely with over ten critical units, including Customs, the Maritime Safety Administration, and the Transportation Bureau, to organize an expert seminar. Finally, the malfunctioning coal ship reached its designated coal dock safely. This rescue established a precedent for unpowered large-tonnage ship piloting in Shanwei seas, hence bolstering supply assurance efforts.
