The preliminary feasibility research report for 2×1000MW ultra-supercritical unit submitted by CR Power Wumeng Power Plant in Dafang County passed the peer review on May 19, marking phased progress for this project.

During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, CR Power plans to build the world's first 2×1,000MW ultra-supercritical coal-fired unit for circulating fluidized bed boiler in Dafang County, Guizhou Province, and a "Dafang multi-energy complementary clean and efficient energy demonstration base" that integrates wind energy, thermal energy, solar energy and carbon dioxide storage was also planned and built at the same time.
