On October 12, Zhuhai CR Chemical Waste Heat-based Power Generation Project built by CR Power Zhuhai Smart Energy Company achieved a successful grid-connected power generation of its first unit, marking the successful implementation of CR Power's first industrial exhaust heat-based power generation project.
The grid-connected unit, which is the largest single set of ORC (Organic Rankine Cycle) low-temperature waste heat-based turbine generating unit in the esterified steam industry in China, drives the turbine by recycling the esterified steam generated by the polyester production process to power the generator to generate electricity, realizing the industrialized recycling of low-grade heat sources.
In the next step, Zhuhai Smart Energy Company will continue to explore and innovate integrated energy services, aiming to build a benchmark integrated energy service provider in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
