At 10:18AM of August 3, 2020, #2 Unit of China Resources Power (Cangzhou Yundong) Co., Ltd. ("Yundong Power Plant") successfully passed the 168-hour commissioning, marking that Yundong Power Plant project was comprehensive completed and entered a new stage of production and operation.

Yundong Power Plant is a key project of Hebei Province and a major strategic support project and major livelihood project under "the 12th Five-Year Plan" of Cangzhou City. During the project construction, the project adopted several innovative technologies that were fresh in China and applied by China Resources Power for the first time, including the horizontal layout of the main plant, the thermal system without deaerator, the circular flue, and double-pipe layout of four pipelines, and applied for 17 national proprietary technologies. After the project is put into operation, it can provide residential heating covering 15 million square meters to Cangzhou City, and form the pattern of networked operation of the two main heat sources in the east and west urban areas, which will greatly improve the safety and reliability of heating supply, effectively promote the improvement of air quality and people’s livelihood in Cangzhou City, and help the Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei region win the Blue Sky Protection Campaign.
