On December 2nd, China Resources Power (Hezhou) Co., Ltd. (referred to as Hezhou Project) received the 2019 list of newly identified technology innovation demonstration enterprises in the autonomous region announced by Industry and Information Technology Department and Finance Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Hezhou Project is the only thermal power enterprise in Guangxi that received this identification.

It is reported that the technological innovation demonstration enterprises have been selected through systematic and comprehensive evaluations from the aspects of investment in R&D and innovation, talent incentives and innovation cooperation, with the aim to encourage enterprises to actively carry out technological innovation and strengthen the exemplary leading role of technological innovation of outstanding enterprises. In recent years, Hezhou Project has actively implemented the green and innovative development concept, continuously strengthened innovation investment, and constantly promoted the research and development of new technologies suitable for production reality. So far, it has obtained 47 authorized patents and established an enterprise technology center in the autonomous region, achieving remarkable results in promoting local economic development and assisting in poverty alleviation.

This identification shows the recognition of the innovation capability of Hezhou Project from all sectors of society. In the future, Hezhou Project will give play to the leading role of technological innovation demonstration enterprises in the autonomous region, further enhance its technological innovation capabilities, promote the transformation of innovation results, and transform into an integrated energy service provider with high social cohesion and strong commonweal nature.
