On September 5th, the 13th Annual Conference of Ultra-supercritical Unit Technical Exchange, hosted by China Power Technology Network and co-organized by China Resources Power (Tangshan Caofeidian) Co., Ltd. (referred to as Caofeidian Project), was held in Tangshan, Hebei.
At 8 o’clock in the morning, the conference was presided over by Feng Yijun, Director of China Electric Power News. Li Guifang, General Manager of Caofeidian Project, delivered a welcome speech, and Wei Yupu, Director of China Power Technology Network, delivered an opening speech. CR Power’s Vice President Zhao Houchang introduced the basic situation of the company. Subsequently, Ni Weidou, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and the former Vice President of Tsinghua University, delivered the chairman’s message of the annual conference. Professor Mao Jianxiong from Energy and Power Engineering Department of Tsinghua University, also delivered the keynote speech. Professor Feng Weizhong, General Manager of Shanghai Shenergy Power Technology Co., Ltd. made a technical report on the topic of “Exploration into the development of high-efficiency low-carbon coal-fired power technology”.
During the communication session, academicians, professors and experts discussed on the current difficulties in technological innovation and energy conservation and environmental protection in the thermal power industry, and answered technical questions raised by the representatives present at the meeting.
In the next day and a half, more than 30 experts gave technical speeches, of which “Construction Technology Sharing of Caofeidian Phase II Project” and “Comprehensive Energy Saving and Optimization of the Seawater Circulation Ultra-supercritical Thermal Power Unit” of Caofeidian Project received high appraisal and appreciation.
This annual meeting is a grand event to promote the development of ultra-supercritical technology and strengthen the exchange of management experience, which is of great significance to continuously promote independent innovation, intelligent optimization and control, and clean low-carbon environmental protection technology. Caofeidian Project of North China Region will take this conference as an opportunity to deeply learn from the excellent experience, practices and achievements in the industry, and further enhance the safety and economy of equipment management, thus making positive contributions to improving the level of ultra-supercritical technology.
