On July 5th, Li Yan, General Manager of China Resources Power (Ningxia) Sales Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Ningxia Power Sales Company) visited Huaneng Xinjiang Energy Development Co., Ltd. in Urumqi, and the two sides held a discussion on the cross-provincial power marketing business. At the meeting, the two sides reached and signed a cooperation agreement with an annual power sales amount of 1 billion kWh, which opened up the path for the company to develop Xinjiang power source and external power market.

Ningxia Power Sales Company obtained the first “point-to-point” cross-provincial direct-supply large-capacity electricity trading pilot project in China, and successfully signed contracts with two of the four major users of Shaanxi pilot project. As the service provider, the company facilitated the transactions between the two major users and Huaneng Xinjiang Fukang Thermal Power Plant (a subsidiary of Huaneng Xinjiang Energy Development Co., Ltd.) with a “point-to-point” cross-provincial power trading amount of 190 million kWh.
