CR Power Practicing Green Development by Responsibilities and Intelligence

During September 22-23, the Fourth Public Opening Month of "Start from Heart and Green Development" of CR Power was organized at the Longyan Zhenfu Wind Farm and the Fuyao smart energy project in Fujian.

 
It is learnt that the vigorous development of clean energy and the acceleration of transformation into a comprehensive energy service provider are core strategic objectives of the "13th Five-year" Plan of CR Power. So far, the percentage of installed capacity of clean energy operation rights of CR Power has risen to 22.7%, and the comprehensive energy service level of CR Power has stepped into the forefront of the industry. Zhenfu Wind Farm and Fuyao smart energy project are representatives.

 
Rejuvenate Fujian by clean power

 
Fans stand in a well-proportioned way, and cattle eat grass leisurely on slopes. Along with rotating vanes, clean power is constantly transmitted to thousands of households. Standing on the top of mountains and looking out, you can see especially eye-catching round or square soil structures, which belong to CR Power Zhenfu Wind Farm of Yongding County, Fujian.

 
The Zhenfu Wind Farm is the first wind farm invested by the great area of Southeast China of China Resources Power Holdings Co., Ltd. in Fujian, and is the first wind farm operating in Longyan. It has connected with grids and generated power as of May 21, 2018, and has installed 24 2 MW wind power generation units, with total capacity of 48 MW.

 
The forest coverage rate of Fujian ranks No. 1 in China, and that of Longyan ranks No. 1 in Fujian. As the "first of the first", the Zhenfu Wind Farm has worked hard in terms of water and soil conservation and vegetation restoration. As of June 2017, the Zhenfu Wind Farm has successively invested about RMB10 million in vegetation restoration. In particular, it has hung nets and sprayed and sowed grass of 0.14 million m2, directly sowed grass of 0.13 million m2, and planted over 15,000 trees and shrubs. "The wind farm has a fall of nearly 600 m. The minimum temperature is under zero degree, and requirements for vegetation are different at different sea levels. After seeking technical schemes from local professional institutions such as agricultural bureaus and forestry bureaus, we planted oriental cherry and sweet scented osmanthus at the place below 1,000 m, and oil-tea camellia and Rhododendron pulchrum at the place above 1,000 m, making obvious achievements." Wo Zhonglei, director of the Zhenfu Wind Farm introduced.

 
Naked mountains cannot be seen basically along the roads and slopes towards the wind farm. Lawns grow well and are luxuriantly green, and have become the first choice of local villagers for graze. Besides, owing to newly built roads, local villages go out more conveniently, and more and more tourists come to visit.

 
Yongding County is the home of earth buildings of the Hakkas. In order to carry forward local culture, the Zhenfu Wind Farm especially integrated earth building elements into the design scheme of the comprehensive building. Round buildings and earth buildings not far away complete each other, forming a beautiful scenery line. Owing to overall unique design, the effective combination with local tourist culture and the emphasis on ecological protection during construction, the wind farm has been effectively propelling local tourism development since its established." Wo Zhonglei stated, "In future, the wind farm will build a 'earth buildings + wind power' cultural tourism demonstration area together with local government."

 

An earth building in Yongding County is called "Zhenfu Building". When being asked whether the name of the wind farm refers to Zhenfu Building, Wo Zhonglei said: "Zhenfu means the rejuvenation of Fujian. We also hope to give play to enterprise value and assist in local development."

 
It is learnt that the wind farm has achieved outstanding emission reduction effects since its establishment. Each year, it can replace 35,600 tons of standard coal, and reduce the production output of ash of 13,200 tons, sulfur dioxide of 38.22 tons, nitrogen oxide of 38.22 tons and carbon dioxide of about 101,200 tons. The Zhenfu Wind Farm is annotating the meaning of its name by actual actions.


Help enterprises scientifically use energy by smart scheme

 
There is the largest automotive glass producer in China -- Fuyao Group in Fuqing, more than 400 km away to the northeast of Yongding County. As of 2017, CR Power has been providing Fuyao Group with "integrated, smart, one-stop and concierge-like" energy management services by virtue of power specialty and advantages as a comprehensive energy provider, actually reducing enterprise energy utilization costs, enhancing comprehensive energy utilization efficiency and jointly building the new ecological industry of smart energy development. "Fuyao Group is not the largest local enterprise, but its influence is great. Its global market share reached 25%, and its resource endowment advantages are obvious. The cooperation of both parties can realize the rapid implementation of the project." Pan Chao, assistant commander-in-chief of Fuyao smart energy project, introduced.

 
It is learnt that, the Fuyao smart energy platform, the first comprehensive energy project of CR Power, is composed of several energy projects such as waste heat power generation, distributed photovoltaic, gas distributed and energy storage projects. In August 2017, CR Power Southeast Branch prepared the smart energy technology scheme of Fuyao float process "Internet+" intelligent micro network project, and concluded a technical agreement. After 134 days, the Fuyao smart energy platform was formally launched on November 27, 2017.

 
At present, the grid connection has been realized for the 18 MW rooftop photovoltaic project of Phase 1 of float process factory construction, 4.5 MW waste heat power generation units have been connected into the smart energy platform, and combined cooling, heating and power have been provided by virtue of gas internal combustion power generation units together with waste heat boilers. "The planned 12 MWH energy storage project will provide Fuyao with peak load shifting, standby application, demand response support and other services, and is an important measure for enhancing the flexibility, economy and safety of traditional power system at present. It is expected to be constructed and put into operation in 2020." Pan Chao stated.

 
Besides, CR Power also provides Fuyao Group with power distribution optimization, energy conservation and emission reduction, operation maintenance management and other services. The implementation of the Fuyao comprehensive energy project can, each year, save standard coal of 21,243 tons, reduce the emission of sulfur dioxide of about 1,991 tons and carbon dioxide of about 54,000 tons, and decrease enterprise energy utilization cost of about RMB10 million.

 
"We hope to promote the project to a dozen factories under the Fuyao Group through continuous optimization and improvement." Pan Chao supplemented, "Meanwhile, the Fuyao project will be taken as a typical case to rapidly replicate the smart energy platform to other large enterprises or industrial parks, and the power purchase and sales business will be conducted through the platform."

 
It is introduced that the cooperative projects between CR Power and Fujian Jingwei Conglomerate and between it and Fujian Jinjiang Technology go well. On December 27, 2018, the Jingwei smart energy platform was launched; on December 30, 2018, the Jingwei rooftop distributed photovoltaic project (Phase I) realized grid connection; the Jinjiang Technology smart energy platform is in construction, and is planned to be launched at the end of September 2019; the Jinjiang Technology rooftop photovoltaic project is planned to be put into production at the end of 2019.

 
The comprehensive energy services of CR Power have been extensively applied and promoted in Fujian, and a regional smart energy platform is being formed.
