On November 30, under the direction of the Guangdong Provincial Energy Bureau and the Shantou Municipal Government, the China Wind Energy Association and the Global Wind Energy Council organized the Swatow International Wind Power Technology Innovation Conference. The opening ceremony was addressed by Fu Xiaofeng, Deputy Director of the Department of Social Development on Science and Technology of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Hu Hong, Deputy Secretary-General of People's Government of Guangdong Province, and Wen Zhanbin, Secretary of the CPC Shantou Municipal Committee. Shi Baofeng, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CR Power, and Hou Yongjie, Vice President of CR Power and General Manager of the South China Region of CR Power, were invited to attend the conference.

The conference, with the theme "Building an International Wind Power Industry Cluster, Establishing a Global Mutual-Trust and Stable Supply Chain," brought together the foremost experts and enterprise resources worldwide, fostering a consensus for global industrial development and propelling the wind power industry to unprecedented heights. Huang Zhen, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Li Can, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, discussed with diplomatic envoys and academics of the UK, Norway, and the Netherlands, with a focus on the global wind power industry. They also gave keynote addresses on promoting the global energy transition and addressing climate change.

The conference formally disclosed the most recent construction achievements of several key projects of Shantou International Wind Power Innovation Port. One of the achievements, the six-degree-of-freedom electrical and dynamic experimental platform for 40MW wind turbine sets built by CR Power will become the world's largest and leading offshore test and research platform for the ground transmission system of wind turbine sets. This platform can strongly support China's wind power technological innovation and development of large-scale sets, and advance China's major scientific research infrastructure for wind power to the top of the global rankings.

During the conference, Secretary Wen Zhanbin and Chairman Shi Baofeng jointly unveiled the above-mentioned platform, and Vice President Hou Yongjie inaugurated "Shantou Offshore Wind Power Co., Ltd." for the company undertaking the project on centralized supply of offshore wind power. Guangdong New Energy Company of CR Power signed the Framework Agreement for Strategic Cooperation on Offshore Wind Power + Marine Ranching Integration Demonstration Project and Agreement for Strategic Cooperation on Developing the International Offshore Wind Power Training Center at Shantou International Wind Power Innovation Port.

Pursue prosperity through marine projects and set out again by wind power. CR Power will continue to streamline the business structure, accelerate scientific and technological innovation, and make constant efforts to build a more resilient industry chain and supply chain for global wind power and for the sector to create larger scale and higher-quality development and achieve the Double Carbon Goals.
